Teamfight Tactics 11.4 – Top 3 Compositions
Single-cost Chosen champions are back in four-cost Chosen units, called the TFT Set 4.75, Patch 11.4 meta. System changes on select units, along with a number of re-role trait nerfs, resulted in a strategy change with the best Elo players moving to the best comps at level eight. According to a Reddit post by Wrainbash, the best TFT builds to play in the Patch 11.4 meta are Legendary, Olaf Slayer and six DragonSol. GrandVice8 (GV8) also placed Olaf and DragonSol high in the Morning Meta Report, adding Fabled to its list of S-plus tier TFT compositions.
Passing has once again become a core component of playing TFT with the release of Patch 11.4. Players' winning streak increases to eight out of 4-5 and drops for four costly Select units like Olaf, Aurelion Sol, and Aatrox. On average, players reach level eight and roll no later than stage 5-1. Players then have the option to build their best end board or go to the fast nine to get a Chosen that costs five for a Legendary build.
Legends is once again the best TFT comp but hard to hit. Players will get huge rewards when they hit a strong five-cost Chosen, but they can also be in fourth place if they're greedy. The safe and standard strategy revolves around switching to the strongest panel at each stage when creating elements for a final and completed composition. The most selected items from the first carousel are typically Rod or Glove.
Olaf the Slayer
Olaf the Slayerhas two builds: three flexible Slayers and six Slayers. Six is ideal, but Flex can also manifest with a Chosen Swain or Morgana for two Siphons. The best slot (BIS) items in Olaf are still Runnan's Hurricane and Deathblade. Depending on the lobby, Guardian Angel, Last Whisper, Dragon's Claw, and Infinity Edge are solid third options. And players must immediately transfer the items of a two-star Samira, Olaf.
Tryndamere is a solid second hand using products similar to Olaf. Three Olaf Slayers can make it into the top four, but require a two-star Swain plus a Morellonomicon on two-star Morgana. Sivir is an optional holder for service items such as Zeke's Herald and Chalice of Power; Sejuani and Aatrox use items like Shroud of Stillness and Redemption.
DragonLeft
Escaped all major nerfs along with the three Mages of Aurelion Sol, the Dragonsoul trait is a powerful composition worth building. Asol, Shyvana, Olaf and Morgana are the preferred four cost Select units; Aurelion Sol and Shyvana are primary and secondary carriers. Similar to Slayers, DragonSol can use Olaf and all three Slayers on the ninth level board with a five-cost Samira.
Aurelion Sol's BIS items are the Jeweled Glove and the Hextech Weapon Sword. Additional items tied to the lobby meta are Guardian Angel, Hand of Justice, and Deathblade. Shyvana is best equipped with Runaan Hurricane, Hand of Justice and possibly Dragon's Claw.
Vanguard/Mystic Legendary
Fabled is back, following individual buffs to Nautilus, Neeko, and Cho'Gath. Vanguards also got help with buffing two-star Aatrox and two-paying Braum. Neeko is three-strung, but still strong, along with the three-star Nautilus. Legendary champions are still often overlooked, which sometimes makes it ideal for three-star units at level seven to risk rolling.
Neeko is the primary bearer with BIS items such as the Jeweled Gauntlet and Infinity Edge. Optional third items are Hand of Justice, Guardian Angel, and Blue Buff. The Nautilus is a secondary carry that uses defensive items such as Dragon's Claw, Sunfire Cape, and Hextech Gunblade. Mystics round out the best TFT build with Yuumi, who uses Chalice of Power and Sejuani with Morellonomicon.
