How to Transfer Game?

While playing the Remasatered version on PS5, you need to transfer the save in order not to start from the beginning.

Debuted in 2018 Marvel's Spider-Manhas been re-released with a remastered version for PlayStation 5. There is a process to transfer Spider-Man saves from PS4 to PS5, so you can transfer all your progress and trophies to your new console.

So, how to transfer Spider-Man recordings from PS4 to PS5?

Step one: Upload the saves from the PS4 version of the game

First of all, you must have both versions of the game: the PS4 version of Marvel's Spider-Man and the Remastered version on PS5. You can get the PS4 version on disc or digitally, but the Remastered version is only available digitally. Make sure both versions get the latest update.

First launch Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4. You can also do this on PS5 by running the PS4 version of the game with backward compatibility. If the game has a disc version, you can do it by plugging it into the PS5. Just make sure you download the PS5 version when doing it on the PS4 console.

After opening the PS4 version of Marvel's Spider-Man with backward compatibility on either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, press the R1 key in the main menu. Then upload the desired recording file to the cloud. “Load registry file?” A question will appear and press X to continue. Make sure you have an internet connection at this point.

Second step: Download save files to PS5

Now run Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on PlayStation 5. Press R1 when you get to the main menu and download the PS4 save files from here. “Download PS4 Console Recordings?” Confirm the question by pressing X. When the process is finished, you will receive a message that it was successful. This will transfer all your progress and trophies and you can continue where you left off. If you have previously received a Platinum Trophy, it will not be lost.
