Pokemon GO: How to Catch Landorus

Pokemon GO: How to Catch Landorus Landorus is the head of the Forces of Nature legendary Pokemon that players can capture one of their own in raid battles in Pokemon GO.

The Season of Legends event still continues in Pokemon GO with a focus on the three Nature Legendary Pokemon Powers and their alternate forms. Of these three Pokemon, Landorus is the head of the trio.

Pokemon GO: How to Catch Landorus

Landorus has appeared in the past as a legendary raid boss in Pokemon GO. However, he will be returning for the long-running Season of Legends event in both Therian and Incarnate Forms for players to catch.

While Landorus is not currently one of the active raid bosses, the Season of Legends event will run until June 1. This means that Therian Forms for both Thundurus and Tornadus may not appear until they are available in the game.

When Landorus appears as a raid boss, players will need to be prepared to fight him. As he is a dual Ground and Flying-type in both his Incarnated and Therian Forms, he is only weak for Ice and Water-type movements. Meanwhile, Landorus resists damage from Electric, Martial, Bug, Poison, and Ground-type moves.

As with most other legendary raids, players are advised not to challenge Landorus alone. Players can invite friends to remote raids if they have remote raid passes, or help their friends remotely with Landorus.

Although Landorus only has two weaknesses, there are some hard-hitting Pokemon in the ranks of both the Ice and Water types. When it comes to Ice-type Pokemon, some of the best are Mamoswine, Mega Abomasnow, Weavile, Galarian Darmanitan, and Glaceon. It will be critical for the Pokemon to take advantage of Landorus' weaknesses in addition to taking advantage of the same type of attack bonus to knock him down in time. If possible, one of the most useful charging moves to use against Landorus for Ice-type Pokemon is Avalanche.

For water type Pokemon, players can access more Mega Evolutions and powerful attacks. Some of the better ones to fight against Landorus are Mega Blastoise, Mega Gyarados, Swampert, Kyogre and Kingler. Moves like Waterfall and Water Gun can really help spawn recharge moves with the Hydro Pump, Hydro Cannon, and Surf, all of which can be a huge hurdle to Landorus' health.

Unlike the main Pokemon games, players cannot currently change Landorus from Incarnate Forme to Therian Forme and vice versa. If players want both forms, they will need to capture one in the Incarnate Forme and one in the Therian Forme. The two have different stats, so these forms aren't just visual.
