It's one of many things travelers can discover in the underground area, and like many other hidden things, Miner's Key leads to a precious Genshin Impact treasure chest. Exploring the surface is a walk in the park, but the underground Cliff is much more difficult, with many hidden passages and challenging terrains to navigate.
Before starting their journey in the underground Abyss, players are strongly recommended to unlock the underground Abyss map by completing the Abyss Delvers World Quest. The quest is quite long to follow, but will introduce Travelers to most parts of the Chasm map. After the map is fully revealed, players can begin their journey to find the key.

If travelers have never been to this area before, they should take a detour. They must go to the Teleport Waypoint east of the Ruins Snake boss in Genshin Impact and then walk west.
Eventually they will come to a narrow passage that they must follow northward. To be safe, it's worth investigating all available research points. At the end of the passage, players will be able to remove an obstacle and open a shortcut to the other side of the wall.
How to Use Miner's Key?
To use the key in Genshin Impact, players will need to go to the locked door west of the Temporary Main Tunnel Teleport Waypoint.
Once there, they must use the key to open the way to the next room.
Inside the room, players will find a Shady Hustle enemy with a name (Skeld) and a boss-like HP bar. Defeating it will reward Travelers with a Blue Orb of Depth. After collecting nine orbs, players can open a room and claim a Luxury Chest, a Precious Chest, and an Exquisite Chest.
Behind the Shadowy Shell is a Precious Chest waiting for the Travelers to open it. If they dig deeper into the room, the enemies will also find other things, such as Seelie, Lumenspar, and a link to another part of the Underground Abyss.
The connector will take players to a watery area between the two Teleport Waypoints in the Ad-Hoc Main Tunnel.
