All power-up effects in Angry Birds Journey

Every bird you unlock your own unique move Angry Birds Journey also includes new gameplay mechanics that allow you to destroy parts of a scene without throwing a single bird. This ability is known as the buff effect and can only be unlocked after passing the later stages of Chapter 1. Here are all the effects you can have in Journey and what they do.

freezing wind

The first effect you will have is the Chilling Wind booster. Once you complete level 1 in Chapter 39, this ability will turn every piece of material at a certain stage into glass. As a result, your birds will be able to break down structures much more easily than before, allowing you to finish stages with fewer birds than you might otherwise have.

Duck Rain

Second, at level 42 players will have control of the Duckling Rain booster effect. This effect should mainly be used when you need to destroy blocks high in the air because it activates a barrage of ducks to attack a scene from above. It's also an excellent tactic when searching for free balloons or puppy cages attached to hard-to-reach strings.

flower sprout

While Duckling Rain is perfect for attacking from above, the Flower Sprouts effect should be used to knock down structures on the ground floor. Unlocked at level 44, this booster empowers you with an army of flowers emerging from the grass to remove most of the undersides of the structures. This move proves most useful when trying to rescue fireflies trapped under supplies or trying to shoot down a mystery box.
