Loop Hero: How to Summon the Secret Boss? ;Loop Hero players can learn how to unlock the hidden boss in this guide, but defeating the powerful enemy will not be so easy.

Each episode of Loop Hero ends with a boss fight that will test a player's build and even sanity. That's not the end of the story when it comes to bosses in this unique roguelike game, because there's a secret fans can collect. For players who want to try their hand at defeating one of Loop Hero's toughest foes, this guide will detail exactly how to unlock it.

Loop Hero: How to Summon a Hidden Boss?

To get started, fans who want to fight the game's secret boss must first complete the second part. This means that players must take down the Priestess before they even consider summoning the hidden enemy, and indeed, this is no small feat. However, fans who have taken some time to master the basics of Loop Hero should eventually be able to overcome this opponent and take the next step.

Specifically, players should now find a U-shaped part of their loop because they need to get quite a bit of overlapping effect on a single tile. While the minimum number of overlapping effects required to unlock the secret boss is currently up for debate, six has been confirmed to be sufficient. Here is a specific setup that can be used to create an acceptable tile, but Loop Hero fans are free to create their own configuration if that's their preference:

  • Place a Battlefield, Chrono Crystals, and Vampire Mansion along the exterior of the U.
  • Place a Beacon and a Temporal Beacon behind this row.
  • Place an Outpost inside the U.

While in cards position, players should see blue sparks on the road where all their effects overlap. They then need to use an Oblivion card on the sparks to create a Dimensional Crack, and the battle with the hidden boss begins as soon as the Hero reaches that tile in Loop Hero. All that is left to do at this point is to kill the enemy, but this can be quite difficult.

Indeed, this undercover boss isn't the impetus, and fans should come fully prepared if they're hoping to get a chance. This means doing things like unlocking more equipment slots in Loop Hero, but even a well-equipped player is absolutely not guaranteed victory in combat. Fortunately, fans can summon the enemy and try again on a next run if necessary.
